ABC is NAVTA-Approved!
Animal Behavior College has earned approval from the National Association of Veterinary Technicians of America (NAVTA) for our comprehensive Veterinary Assistant Program. The approval process is quite rigorous and takes over a year to accomplish which is why so few schools actually achieve this designation.
At the time of our approval, we were one of 22 schools that had merited this distinction in the United States. Of the 22 schools, there are only three online programs that can boast this achievement. ABC's online Veterinary Assistant Program, which also includes invaluable hands-on training experience, is proud to be among this group.
NAVTA approval is highly respected in the veterinary community. While it is not a requirement to graduate from a NAVTA-approved program, veterinary clinics and hospitals are more likely to hire a graduate of a NAVTA-approved Veterinary Assistant Program.
Upon completion of our NAVTA-approved program, graduates will have earned the privilege and opportunity to take NAVTA's national test and become an Approved Veterinary Assistant (AVA).
