Dog Training School Costs for Students

Thinking about becoming a dog trainer or even starting your own dog training business? You might be surprised to know you can learn dog training online! Not all online dog training schools are alike, though. Animal Behavior College has an excellent reputation among professional animal organizations. We have been certifying dog trainers since 1998, and our online program has the added benefit of giving you experience with a local trainer.

Tuition covers your complete dog training certification online course and includes app program materials, the help of our Program Manager team, plus real world training experience with an ABC Mentor Trainer. After online coursework is completed, ABC sets you up with one of our mentor partners near you. With the guidance of a local professional trainer, you’ll get the chance to put all your learning into practice!

All required digital study materials (over 950 pages)
29 educational dog training videos
In person, real world training experience with a professional dog trainer that ABC coordinates for you
Student support from your personally appointed Program Manager
Pet CPR and First Aid Certification (good for 2 years)
Lifetime certification as an ABC Dog Trainer (ABCDT) upon successful completion

Full Scholarships Available to Qualified U.S. Military Spouses

Animal Behavior College is proud to be a part of the MyCAA Financial Assistance Program. This program offers eligible military spouses up to $4,000 of tuition assistance that can be used toward their dog training course.

The MyCAA provides 100% tuition assistance to all eligible applicants. Eligible applicants include spouses of Active Duty members of the Department of Defense and activated members of the National Guard and Reserve Components. Since our Dog Trainer Program qualifies for a full tuition scholarship under MyCAA, applicants can get started with only a $75 application fee.
