Since 2017, I have been an ABC-certified dog trainer in the northern LA area. I went through the program when we first adopted our rescue, Flynn – he was my study buddy and my inspiration to help shy and reactive dogs find their confidence!
From 2018-2022, I worked for Petco in the San Fernando and Santa Clarita Valleys as a Head Dog Trainer and Senior Mentor Dog Trainer. We adopted our husky mix, Ellie, in 2021 and she taught me to think outside of the box in order to keep her active puppy brain busy (and to keep her teeth off of my rug).
In 2022, I started One Paw At A Time Training because I wanted to better serve my clients by offering in-home services. I believe that all dogs benefit from positive reinforcement training, sometimes we just have to take it one paw at a time.
