I began my grooming career in 1996 in Columbia, Missouri and opened my own grooming salon after moving to Lewes, Delaware in 2006. Having worked with animals all my life
I completed the Animal Behavior College course in 2006. I feel that continuing education is critical in this business. After completing the Training course I completed the Animal Behavior Vet Assistant program in 2009 which is helpful when observing behaviors and their causes.
I have attended multiple seminars including attending a class with Pat Miller at Peaceable Paws in 2012. Every year I attend Wolf Park Seminars in Battleground, Indiana and learn from the best Behavior Specialists in the world. My continuing education helps me understand the signals the dog is giving me and aid clients in developing a warm loving relationship with their pets.
