Hello, my name is Laura Miller, founder and owner of Creature Comfort Pet Services. We are a professional organization, meaning you can rest assured that you will receive professional training by a certified dog trainer whose business is licensed, insured, and registered for your extra assurance. I am a certified dog trainer through Animal Behavior College since 2012. Unfortunately, there are no laws in the Country that govern who can be a dog trainer, so you may be getting a trainer who is unqualified, which could put you and your dog at risk. Benefits for filling out the forms include an indicator of the safety you will receive and what you will expect from Dog Training, Boarding & Daycare, and Equine Massage. I've been professionally dog sitting since 2014. I am a MBA trained professional who can provide that extra level of professionalism that you won't get anywhere else.
I'm also a certified large (meaning animals like horses – I'm also a rider) and small (meaning cats and dogs) animal masseuse through Northwest School of Animal Massage since 2004. I have taken horse riding lessons for 20 years, so I am familiar with horses above and beyond what is taught in animal massage school.
I am Pet CPR Certified through Animal Behavior College to provide you with an added level of assurance. I am a member of the Association of Professional Dog Trainers (APDT) and the Pet Professional Guild, and a volunteer with the Jacksonville Humane Society.
I've worked as a volunteer foster mom for dog and cat rescue organizations, and have fostered approximately 50 dogs and a few cats over 14 years, so I'm used to hosting and caring for a variety of different dogs. Therefore, I have a wide variety supplies to provide anything your animal would need for daycare or boarding.
I am insured through Business Insurers for the Carolinas which includes the broadest care custody and control coverage for the pets and property in our care whether at a client's home, in transit, or at the host's home.
