My love for animal training began at a very young age. It all started when I watched Free Willy for the first time. I wanted to be a whale trainer but living in the prairies I soon realized that was unrealistic. So I set my eyes on the next best thing dog training.
I’ve completed my dog training certification through the Animal Behaviour College in 2018. However I’ve been training dogs for the past 8 years in various dog sports. I’m constantly growing my repertoire through courses and seminars provided by Bobbie Lyons Canine Campus, Susan Garrett and Dunbar Academy.
I’ve been in the pet industry for over 10 years now. I currently own the Pet Valu in Portage la Prairie. Owning a pet store allows me to bring knowledge of all the different types of training tools available.
Between my experience working in the pet industry and my Bachelor’s Degree in Animal Sciences I’m very knowledgeable in pet nutrition which has allowed me to bring more then just dog training to my classes.
