I’ve always wanted to work with animals, and after my husband and I married I was given the opportunity to start my dream career. I currently work at a Boarding Facility as a Dog Daycare Supervisor, where I’ve been trained in reading dog-dog and dog-human communication signals as well as dog first aid and handling dogs of all sizes/temperaments. I have five dogs of my own, ranging from working mixes to toy breeds, so I’m familiar with different breeds and their unique drives that can create discontent in the home if not given a proper outlet. My training style leans more towards teaching owners how to use enrichment and fun activities to deter unwanted behaviors rather than strictly training obedience in dogs, leading to dogs that are excited to engage with their owners in ways the owners are happy to oblige.
