Hi, I would like to introduce myself. My name is Dick Lester. For the past 15 years, my family and I have lived in the Marysville area. I retired from the U.S. Navy.
Dogs and dog training have always been a part of my life, and have always wanted to be a dog trainer. Over time dog training methods have changed a great deal from punishment training to positive reinforcement.
Dog training should be fun for both owner and dog. The dog should be obedient because it wants to obey because it is fun and not out of fear and punishment.
My goal has been to learn how to teach the correct techniques to the owners, so they can have obedient dogs that are fun to be around. That creates that special bond between dog and owner.
In my search for a training technique that enforced my own beliefs. I found that Animal Behavior College not only believed as I did, they had a way to teach those concepts to do trainers and owners.
I chose Animal Behavior College for my training for three main reasons:
1. Positive reinforcement dog training course.
2. A simple training method that creates a very obedient pet.
3. Certification dog training course.
