I’m a Thai citizen… Yes, Moving from Asia to the USA is so different the world changed and now I’m living in Hackett Arkansas USA !! I have Zero background in grooming not even know how to use a clipper and you know what? Every single item that I have to translate into Thai language. How fun is it ?:-). I was a Human Resource for my whole life.

I don’t know how to say THANK YOU to ABC and Thank you to myself that I was chosen to become an ABC student. As I have no idea about dog grooming ( I always say I start from minus zero ). I applied to ABC within a day because the program has training with an external trainer – Hands-on training 150 hr. I was confident since the beginning that I would become a good groomer with overall programming.
ABC gives me a new life! and I have to talk about my favorite part of the ABC program is training with an external trainer I felt….yes it was my lucky moment that I ‘felt’. I did not feel bad at all as I know that i knew nothing, I needed to gain more practice, I needed to touch the dogs more and I needed to make some mistake more. As I had very little chance to groom the dog in the mentor shop,
I started to use social networks to tell people nearby that I bathed for free, trimmed toenails for free, and groomed for free. I was lucky that people around me sent their dogs for me to practice. I did free for about 3 months then I started to charge for just shampoo and utility costs people are happy to support too.
Yes, I had a chance to practice more with the second mentor .. the first day with the new mentor I groomed 6 dogs !! That is what I deserved, I was very tired, I was very nervous, I was very concerned but seem all the knowledge from the book I could apply on that day.
Now..
I provide full dog grooming services. I have a small shop at my own home and Open every day. I have been operating a dog grooming shop for over a year now. There are regular customers in the nearby area and new customers are coming in regularly.
I am very happy with my work today. And I will continuously improve myself.
