While achieving my ABC certificate for Pet Grooming I worked at The Green Spot in Omaha NE. This is a retail dog/cat food and supplies retailer with grooming services. We saw a wide variety of dogs and some cats and I became known for my work with double coated dogs and desheds. After my first year of grooming I moved to Dogtopia in West Omaha which is a doggie daycare, boarding and grooming salon. Over 40 of my clients are poodle mixes with at least 25 being Doodles. My previous career in healthcare and my experience with rescue dogs over the past 25 years enables me to work well with fractious animals and those with skin conditions. I continue to learn and practice every day and love my career with dogs.
